Community Cafe
We have a community cafe every Monday to Thursday from 10.30am to 12.15pm. For the best homemade soup, rolls, toasties and homebaking, come to the Prentice Centre Cafe.
Playgroup & Bookable Creche
Monday to Thursday we have both morning and afternoon playgroups which are open to local children aged 2-5 years. We also run a bookable creche on a friday morning. We normally have a waiting list, so pop in for more information and a registration form.
After School Club
If you have a child aged 5 to 8 our After School Club could be the club for them. The club takes place every Monday and Tuesday afternoon, 3.30pm to 5pm. Come along and have some fun with Arts & Crafts, Games, Outings, Cooking and much, much more. This costs 50p per session.
Computer Class
Our ever popular Computer Group takes place on Wednesday evenings. Whether you are an absolute beginner or want to brush up on your skills, this is the group for you. We have a waiting list, so pop in or phone the Centre for more details.
This class costs £1 and is supported by CEC Community Based Adult Learning.
Line Dancing
This session we will continue to have two Line Dancing classes each week. We have our established Thursday evening class and also now our beginners class on a Monday afternoon. Places are available for beginners 2pm-3pm on Mondays.
This class costs £1.
KEEP FIT
We have a keep fit class on a Monday evening. This is a supple strength class and is suitable for all ages (similar to pilates).
This class is free and is supported by the Move It Project.
Over 50's The Happy Club
The Happy Club meet every Wednesday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm. We currently have room for new members, so come along if you want to enjoy some entertainment, film shows, bingo, outings and make new friends. For more information, just ask at the Centre Office.
Childrens Disco Dancing Class
Phoenix Dance School are running sessions for children aged 3 and over on a Tuesday night 6pm-8pm. Ask at the Centre Office for more information or pop into the class.
This class costs £4.
Scottish Slimmers
Scottish Slimmers will be running a weekly class from the Prentice Centre on a Wednesday 6pm til 7pm. For more information, pop along on a Wednesday evening or ask at the Centre Office.
Literacy & Numeracy Group
Brush up on your reading, writing or numbers. Wednesdays 9.30am - 11.30am. Contact Siobhan on 332-7360 or ask at the Centre Office.
